Graham Keevill is the appointed professional Archaeologist at four Anglican cathedrals: Blackburn (since 2003), Rochester (since 2006), Christ Church Oxford (since 2007), and Salisbury (since 2011). He thus looks after the Ancient, the Modern and the Peculiar (he will explain which is which, and why). His talk will describe the background to and results of his work at each of these remarkable places, drawing on a wide range of evidence. This will include recent ground radar surveys at Rochester and dendrochronology at Christ Church.
This talk will follow a short AGM.
